Merger Details:

Effective January 1, 2010, Brascan SoundVest Diversified Income Fund merged with Brascan SoundVest Focused Business Trust. In conjunction with the merger, the continuing fund was renamed Brookfield Soundvest Equity Fund. Brascan SoundVest Diversified Income Fund holders received in exchange, 1.655611 units of Brookfield Soundvest Equity Fund for each unit of Brascan SoundVest Diversified Income Fund previously held. The merger was effected on a taxable basis.
