If Golf Town units were sold before the takeover by OCPI Golf Inc. and before an ex-final distribution date, if any, the ACB Tracking Calculator will provide an acceptable adjusted cost base. If, however, the units were tendered under the takeover, or sold after an ex-final distribution date, if any, the ACB calculation is more complex, and you should consult with your tax-preparer.
