Merger Details

Effective June 30, 2006, Petrofund Energy Trust merged with Penn West Energy Trust. Penn West Energy Trust was the surviving trust. Unitholders of Petrofund Energy Trust received 0.6 units of Penn West Energy Trust for each unit of Petrofund held. The ACB Tracking Calculator assumes that the unitholder submitted a Tax Election form to create a tax deferred roll over. If this is not the case, please refer to the Penn West website for details. The average closing price of Penn West units for the 5 days prior to the merger was $26.74.
